Poor 928...

I didn’t take a picture of the damage, but the rear right looks like it got hit pretty hard and the body work would’ve almost certainly been more than the car was worth.

Indeed, and doesn’t seem like they’re in a hurry to crush of them. The vintage section is only open from 9-12 on weekends. They didn’t let me bring tools in, I guess you find the car you want parts from and then are allowed to go get that part. I didn’t find anything I wanted so I didn’t test this theory.

I wonder why somebody popped the taillights out on the Falcon. Also, what’s in the photo with it, a Rambler wagon?

Holy crap, is that a Cortina!? I want one of those so bad. Why did I click on this?

Not sure, maybe they realized after pulling them that they weren’t going to fit or something. Your guess is better than mine, I didn’t really look at it, and that’s the only picture I’ve got of it.

I don’t know why I want an old French car so badly. It’s like a middle finger to their automakers for not selling stuff here.

Well the good news is they don’t appear to be in any hurry to crush them. So hopefully the parts can keep another one on the road and it shouldn’t rust away before that cause Texas. I found a Lanica Zagato in a junkyard in GA in Jan of 2013. Went back in October of 2015 and it’s still there, even though all the other cars around it were different. It was like they knew.
